eL cLaSsIcO have a new scout, new sponsor, and new name. The Intermediate champions have been picked up by Sinful Gaming and have also picked up icTus to replace air as one of their scouts.
icTus is no stranger to Invite. He has played a few seasons in Invite, and was previously on Show Me the Monet in Season 18 before the team died after only a few weeks. Since then, he's played for a number of Intermediate teams, and looks to redeem himself as he competes on Sinful.
icTus spoke with us about joining the team:
I feel like this is a really fun meme team to play on, albeit with potential. I'm sad that I couldn't play with Luca Goers, since that would have been a team with a a chance at being one of the top 4 teams. But, what's done is done and I can only hope to have fun playing this season with these group of guys.
Sinful Gaming co-founder Stevokinevo also shared some details surrounding the organization and the newfound partnership:
The Sinful Six was originated in 2013 by Stevokenivo and Fdisk. Sinful Six has hosted a number of tournaments, and have helped many teams and players pay for their league fees to keep them in the game. We’ve fallen in love with esports and specifically TF2. We decided to sponsor eL cLaSsIcO for invite because it’s always exciting to see champions from one division move on up to the next. I have played with wrech in the past, and I admire his leadership skills as well as how he keeps the team chemistry at a level where I foresee extreme success. We would like expand out to other games and therefore we changed our name and logo to Sinful Gaming. We will continue to host tournaments and do community events.
