Any IRL knife enthusiasts out there? Be it quality blades, fancy EDCs (for those who are old enough), or balisong flippers. Let's see what you got in the collection.

Here's my steadily growing benchmade collection. I'd be down to buy any other knives people may have off them as long as it's benchmade.

Waiting on the BM 67 to get in. That's probably the true spy knife with the same style blade.

The BRS Replicants are pretty cool too. But are still just as pricey.

Ah a benchmade fan. :D Quality knives, always have been. I've had a bunc of experience with blacksmithing and metalworking, I'm going to try and making a doulbe bladed balison with two short blades that can flip between the two. (you'd have to sheath the knife obviously).

I'm also working on creating some micarta handled for some knives I'll be making out of some nice old files.

You don't seem to be doing very well at that then by posting in this thread.

Thickneyfeelings on serrated blades?

Serrations can definitely be helpful. They can be hard to come by though in some custom blades. I think the idea is that if you have a sharp enough edge there is no point in serrations.

haha i mean, i picked up this RAT folding knife off amazon for about $25. its pretty fuckin amazing for the price. RAT makes solid knives that hold up in real situations (most notably their fixed blades) and typically come at a higher price point. this folder is indisputably affordable given it should last a lifetime as an EDC blade, and if it ever fails it is cheap to replace. this one is seriously hard to beat for a deal.

I have some spyderco's, benchmades and kershaws. When I was younger I just thought if the knife looked cool that was all there was too it. But definitely there is a big difference in the quality of the steel on a cheap China knife vs a Made in Japan or USA knife.

Honestly this reminds me I need to sell some of these knives lol

As far as EDC's go, I'm normally not one to carry a knife everyday like some people I know. Well I did carry a leatherman micra multitool on my keychain for 10 years.

Oh awesome! Let me know what you are selling and we can work something out for sure. Got any pictures of the collection?
Funny thing is that I used to be the same exact way. I have all of these double bladed knives and rounded edges and such that I just bought simply because it looked cool.

My EDC is usually the mini reflex as I've had it around over a decade. But I may start carrying sir thing new now.

What's your guys' opinions for those who know about it, how well Damascus blades are?

I don't have a "collection" but I do have a gorgeous bowie knife commemorating the Texian Revolution given to me by my grandpa, a butterfly knife, an engraved Swiss Army knife honouring some moments of my life, and a shitton of other pocketknives I picked up in the Boy Scouts or needed around the house. I don't carry any around on a daily basis but Swiss Army knives are really fucking useful.
