Running 4:3 stretched in borderless window

I want to know if it is possible to run a 4:3 resolution (like 1024x768) on my 1440x900 screen stretched in borderless window. I googled it and this question has only been asked a couple of times years ago so I thought if it might be possible now.

If it isn't possible through launch options I thought it might be possible to make a GPU profile for TF2 that changes the native desktop resolution to 1024x768 but I haven't found anything about doing that.

So I just want to play 4:3 stretched over my whole screen but still be able to alt-tab quickly.

azarunMaybe i missed you point, but why this doesnt work?:
-sw -w 1024 -h 768 -noborder

With that way you just have a small tf2 window inside your whole screen, I want to have it stretched over the whole screen.

I'm not sure about other graphics cards, but in the NVidia control panel, you can go to "Adjust desktop size and position" under the display tab, and choose the "aspect ratio" scaling mode. I think this may be what you're looking for.

True, but this still might help someone somewhere.
