Anyone else getting this? When playing on dx8 on windows 10 with the latest nvidia drivers, closing TF2 results in an instant bsod with the error message VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL. Just recently tried using dx8 and I really like how smooth it feels compared to dx9, unfortunately this makes it unusuable. Any ideas?

I was a person who upgraded my 8.1 to 10 the minute it was released. However once I started playing games I was having nasty issues. TF2 in particular was giving me ~20 FPS which is about 200 less FPS than I'm used to having. As soon as I saw that I took advantage of the feature Microsoft added and I reverted back to 8.1 from 10. It took a surprisingly small amount of time to go back.

My guess is you're going to have to wait for a couple driver updates to happen before all your games are going to run similarly to how they did on your previous operating system. Check Nvidia every day.

If it bothers you a lot you can always revert your Windows 10 back to your previous OS if you used the upgrade process. If you installed 10 via fresh install then you are SOL for now I'd say.
