What bands u been listening to atm any "unknown ones'' you guys can suggest?
Some of them I'm listening to, at the moment are: we as human (personally my favourite band), cult to follow, no resolve, leader (altho they only have a few songs), alter bridge, oceans avenue, starset, downplay, down of ashes, breakaway, saint asonia. As well as many more,

Would definitely recommend Alter Bridge for anyone. Some of their songs really distract from what they're capable of as musicians but they do have some really good riffs and solos from Tremonti.

Would recommend seeing them live too. Tremonti is a showoff!

I've been known to dabble in the rocks music, but I don't normally listen to newer rock - I've heard there's a bit of a thrash revival going on, but so far nobody has really shown me anything that was that pleasing to listen to other than Sodom (the German thrash band who typically deals in Vietnam war-era themed music lol). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsfm67VE32Y

I quite enjoy them too, saw them back in 2009 or so, solid band live and on their albums.
