I change it when im spec but that remains at 100. If I don't use the chri's net config I can't change it. But with chri's net config i have 80 ping...

In that case I'll just wait for wareya to come so he can write a dissertation on modern networking

When I don't use Net Settings I can't change my lerp (100.0) and I would like have 15.2 :\

Isnt lerp associated with cl_interp? Mine changes over classes because of hitscan interp and prpjectile interp.

it's possible with TF2 net settings that you're trying to take up more bandwidth than you actually have. Cause if I recall tf2 default net settings have significantly lower rate, updaterate, and cmdrate. On some Internet connections namely DSL, especially if you have really low tier DSL if you have net settings requiring more bandwidth than you have ping times WILL increase.

As a different point, increasing rate alone should increase the packet sizes (assuming you were bottlenecked to begin with) and with larger packetsizes the higher your ping is.

Ok thanks. So it's better have a lower ping or a lower lerp?
